Transnational meeting in Vienna, Austria within the frames of the project “European Early Childhood Education Movement Experts (EECEME)”

On October 11 and 12, 2021 in Vienna, Austria,  the first transnational meeting within the frames of the “European Early Childhood Education Movement Experts” project was held, which is implemented with the support of the European Commission.

7 institutions/institutes/organizations- Centrosportivoitaliano Comitato Di Feltre, Scuola Centrale Formazione, Iasis Amke Athens, Solidaridad Sin Fronteras, Kreissportbund Rhein-Erft e.V., BEST Institut für berufsbezogene Weiterbildung and the Local Action Group Agro Lider in the upcoming 24 months, they will share good practices regarding sports activities for preschool children in Austria, Germany, Greece, Italy, N. Macedonia, and Spain, and will create a program for educators for children which will enable the proper development and fostering healthy habits from an early age.

The host of the transnational meeting is the Austrian organization BEST- institute for vocational education and training, which is a private institute with over 25 years of successful realization of programs for education and training. 

At the transnational meeting the results of the research conducted in the countries of the partner organizations on the existing sports activities for children aged 1-6 years were presented, and through discussion, the key steps were identified for creating an international training program for educators for children, which will take place next year in Rome, Italy under the leadership and guidance of the experts from the Centro Sportivo Italiano organization, the oldest national institution for sport on the territory of Italy, founded in 1944.
